Nepal’s first pump track, built in Lalitpur under the Pump for Peace project, will host a global qualifier for the Velosolutions UCI Pump Track World Championships on May 31. This historic event, organised by ZeroLevel MTB School and Himalayan Single Track, will welcome local and international riders vying for a spot in the world final in Switzerland. Since opening in 2022, the track has become a vibrant hub for youth and cyclists, with hopes it could one day host the championship itself. The race is sanctioned by the Nepal Cycling Association and the Lalitpur Metropolitan City.
